Who are you?

Lars Leonidis
DCounPsych, MBPsS, BPS Reg. No. 445715

Hi, I'm Lars. As a registered Counsellor/Psychotherapist (BACP) and Counselling Psychologist (in the last year of Doctoral training), I'm here to help you overcome life's challenges and achieve the personal transformation you seek. With extensive experience across the United Kingdom, Greece, and the Netherlands, I've worked with people from all walks of life.

My professional journey has taken me to diverse settings, from the National Health Service (NHS) helping individuals to overcome addiction, complex trauma, and sexual dysfunctions; to collaborating with renowned companies such as Microsoft, Goldman Sachs & Co., and Wayfair, through Employees Assistance Programmes (EAP), to support their employees in building resilience and fostering a healthier work environment.

My approach is grounded in empathy, understanding, and a deep appreciation for your unique experiences. Whether you're feeling anxious or down, navigating relationship issues, exploring your gender identity or sexual orientation, or simply needing a safe space to talk, I'm here to listen and support you every step of the way.

As someone who has made a significant career transition, I understand how overwhelming change and uncertainty can feel. That's why I take a pluralistic approach, drawing on evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Psychosexual Therapy, to create tailored sessions that meet your unique needs, goals, and personality.

I strive to create a welcoming and non-judgmental space for all individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions confidently. Everyone deserves a supportive environment, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnic background, or religion. If you're ready to take the first step towards emotional well-being, email me for an informal chat (in English or Greek). Let's start your journey together.
